1. Date and venue
The ISSF World Cup in shotgun Slovenia Gaj, Maribor 2011 will take place at the Gaj Shooting Range, also known as the Olympic shooting range, in Pragersko, Slovenia on July 7th-16th, 2011.
The shooting range is located among the greenery of the Štajerska region with the panoramic view on Pohorje hills, just 10 km from Maribor, 100km from the Brnik Ljubljana Capital International Airport. The shooting range spreads over 7,2 hectares of enclosed area and consists of 7 fields, 6 ranges for Trap, Double trap and Automatic Trap, 5 ranges for Skeet, separated from Trap. The target throwing machines are Mattarelli and Elfipa electronic scoreboards with a full computer support which is installed on 10 LCD screens.

All shooters who intend to participate in the ISSF World Cup must have an ISSF ID number.
The maximum number of shooters per event will be three (3). Two (2) additional shooters per event may shoot for MQS, and will be listed separately according to their results, but without any ranking. The results of an MQS shooter cannot be recognized as world records.
An MQS shooter may replace a withdrawn World Cup Ranking shooter, but a withdrawn World Cup Ranking shooter may not shoot for MQS.
3. Rules and regulations
The competition will be conducted according to ISSF Rules and Regulations. Detailed information is available on the ISSF homepage

The equipment control will be conducted according to the ISSF Rules and Regulations.
Late Entries
Late entries can only be allowed according to ISSF rule 3.7.3.4.
Any additional entries received after the deadline of three (3) days before the official arrival day may not participate (ISSF rule 3.7.3.5).
Cancellation
Any federation reducing the number of shooters and/or officials after the Final Entry Deadline is obligated to pay all applicable fees and costs including entry fees according to the number of shooters and entries on the Final Entry Form originally received. If the applicable fees and costs are not paid, no member of that federation may participate (ISSF rule 3.7.4.3).
4. Entry process
Preliminary Entries
All federations entering the ISSF World Cup must submit the Preliminary Entry Form no later than March 7st, 2011.
Final Entries
All federations shall make their final entries directly to the ISSF Headquarters through online registration, fax or email. The deadline is June 7th, 2011.

6. Accomodation & catering
Accommodation
The Organizing Committee has arranged official hotels for all participating teams at preferential prices. As required by Slovenia Laws and Regulations on firearms control, all shooters and team officials registered for the shooting event shall stay at the official hotels while having their firearms within the border of Slovenia.

Reservations must be made through the Organizing Committee on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations can only be considered once a deposit of 50% has been received by the Organizing Committee by June 7th, 2011. The balance will be settled upon arrival or swift in advance. All bank fees will be paid by the participants.
The deadline for change and cancellation of hotel reservation is June 7th, 2011. In case of cancellation after this date and/or no-show, the penalty fee will be equal to 50% of the total cost for all nights and rooms booked.

Catering
The shooting range has restaurant facilities offering lunch, dinner, snacks and refreshments at reasonable prices. Meal vouchers can be purchased at the shooting range.
7. Entry visa
All nations who will need an official invitation are requested to return the completed Visa Support Form to the Organizing Committee no later than june 7th, 2011.
8. Registration and payment
Registration and payment of entry fees and accommodation will be made at the shooting range upon arrival. All payments have to be made either in Euro. Credit cards or traveler’s cheques will not be accepted.
9. Transportation and airport pickup
Transportation from/to Brnik, Ljubljana airport or main-station to the official hotels will be offered by the Organizing Committee starting from the official arrival day. Delegations that arrive earlier or leave after the official departure day have to make their own arrangements. All participants have to inform the Organizing Committee of their arrival and departure details in time.
Local transportation between the official hotels and the shooting range will also be arranged by the Organizing Committee. In case of accommodation at non-official hotels, the local transportation has to be arranged and covered by the participants.
10. Firearms and ammunition
All shooters must declare all the firearms and ammunition to be brought into Slovenia and return to the Organizing Committee the Firearm and Ammunition Form no later than June 7th, 2011. Assistance of customs formalities will be provided by the Organizing Committee upon team’s arrival.
11. Jury of appeal, Jury, Range Referees
Jury and Jury of Appeal designated by the ISSF will supervise the competition. Qualified Range Referees holding a valid official ISSF referee license will officiate at the competition.
12.Technical meeting
The Technical Meeting will be conducted on July 8th, 2011 at the shooting range.
13. Doping Control
Doping controls will be conducted in accordance with the ISSF Doping Regulations.
14. Media relations
Press and TV services will be provided during the World Cup.
Athlete biographies and photos
Upon arrival, athletes will be asked to fill the “Athlete Biography”, which shall be returned to the Organizing Committee as soon as possible.
All finals will be covered by the ISSF TV and will be displayed online at
www.issf.tv.
15. Industry
Industry services/exhibitions will be available during the World Cup. The Organizing Committee can supply stands for industry service at reasonable prices.
16. Weather information
According to the weather information, the average temperature in July is expected to be 20℃-24℃. The average humidity is 39-43%.
17. Ceremonies
Opening CeremonyThe Opening Ceremony will be organized on July 8th, 2011.
Awarding CeremonyThe ceremonies will be conducted after each final at the shooting range. All participating teams are required to bring two (2) national flags (1m x 1.5m) and one national anthem on a CD (40-50 seconds) for the ceremonies.
